Once the ‘villain’ has been established in our hero story and their origins explained, the next part involves something going wrong with the world. In this instance, that dark force is narcissism, and the hope of the people lies with the hero actualising their True Self in order to fight back. So let us visit the mythological roots of that world of hope, which once thrived before the dark age descended.

The creation of life

Self-actualisation is an unfolding toward a higher state. We are hardwired to explore and learn about our surroundings as well as look for our place in society. How we actualise depends on our personality, our environment, our DNA, our influences, and what resonates with our True Self.

We pursue actualisation in countless ways, such as public service, research, literature, art, sports, philosophy, study, business or raising a family. Once something resonates with us, we immerse ourselves in it. This begins a process of deepening our relationship with the world, deepening our maturity, and most importantly, deepening our connection with our True Self.
